Pic 1: Brick on the pedal. Putting it there.
Pic 2: Father watching the car go. We don´t see the whole cliff. It looks like he´s standing on a normal soil.
Pic 3: Father watching the car go. Car is now not in the pic. Still no cliff shown.
PG 2:
Pic 1: Father going away from the cliff, camera up and on him, the cliff now behind him. He´s walking away and having a puff from the freshly lighten cigarette.
This has to be the ode on escapism. How you run away, face the consequences and find out who you truly are after years of living in the world of shit that your own head made you.
Essentially, my father after forty, realising that he has to change now.
Maybe because of cancer.
Maybe.
Definitely dedicate this to your father.
Thoughts: What are your fathers dreams? What are your dreams? Which time is it happening on?
Are there flashbacks to his past?
Lost girlfriends?
Lost matches?
Lost money?
The shame?
The love?
The broken marriage?
Let´s write this so he can break free.
He´s in his second marriage. Has a woman who´s bleeding him dry. He has lost the first one. He still loves her. He´s consumed by the world of consuming. Money, ego, money, money, where is the first drop? Where is the point where he goes off?
Think American Beauty meets Kill Your Boyfriend meets Stand By Me.
Eats the trip on the beach. Then man comes to him. Nothing suggests that the trip has started. He comes through one very great experience, sharing similarities with the initiation in the Illuminatus book 1, and then understands that he´s tripping while he saves the world. So he´s back on the beach and he builds a castle from sand and smiles when the water gets it down.
The book should end in the mood of ´Plays John Cassavettes part II´.
